Play & Learn

In kindergarten (groups 1 and 2), children develop their mathematical skills for the first time. At home, they do this by reciting the numbers 1-10 or through counting rhymes, songs, or movements. They solve math problems by counting.

The Montessori balance scale helps with this development. Montessori toys are not just fun but are also very good for the development of children. Montessori educational toys are designed to help children develop in a playful way. The toys are made from natural materials and are based on research from the Netherlands Youth Institute:

What is the Montessori Method?

The Montessori method operates according to the “help me do it myself” principle. Children are in the midst of development and have the urge to grow and learn. As parents, we can contribute to this need by responding to it, for example, by providing the right materials for them to play with.
